Watch I The Mighty frontman Brent Walsh’s music video for “Default World,” which is taken from his new solo album, 7—out now on Equal Vision Records.

Walsh tells AP, "The original concept for the ‘Default World’ music video was to shoot it at this year's Burning Man Festival in Black Rock City, seeing as how that's directly what the song is about. However, due to a very hectic I the Mighty tour schedule leading into the festival, as well as Burning Man's strict video restrictions, we just couldn't make it work. So what director Ernie Gilbert and I decided on was to attempt to capture the love, friendship and camaraderie of Burning Man with my friends and I. We had everyone meet at my house in the morning and basically spent the day just having a blast with each other in Muir Woods, Stenson Beach and on the streets of San Francisco. The end result is the exact vibe we were going for. That entire day was so much fun (as I think the video captures) and I wear the biggest smile on my face every time I watch it."
