Watch the new blood-soaked 'Carrie' trailer

The first Carrie trailer is finally here, and it's got everything: a scary religious-fanatic mother, mean school kids and of course an awkward teenager with some newfound telekinetic powers. Oh, and blood–lots of blood.

The remake of the classic 1976 film, based on the Stephen King novel of the same name, stars Chloë Grace Moretz as the title character and Julianne Moore as her abusive mother, Margaret White.

Check out the trailer below, and if you're feeling brave come October 18, head to the theater to see Carrie on the big screen in all its bloody horror.
