Waterparks release glitchy new song “SNEAKING OUT OF HEAVEN”

Head to the AP Shop for Waterparks magazines, CDs, and vinyl, including a limited-edition green-and-clear variant of INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY.

Following their eclectic fifth studio album, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, Waterparks have released their latest single, “SNEAKING OUT OF HEAVEN.”

The track features glitchy electronics and confessional lyrics as the band continue to move beyond their pop-punk roots and get more experimental with their sound. “We grew up loving and still loving blink-182, Green Day, Sum 41, and Good Charlotte, so it’s in our DNA to a degree, but I just don’t want that [pop-punk] label because it’s so synonymous with the past and what cynical dickheads or mega naysayers say is just for preteens and kids,” Awsten Knight shared during their cover story interview earlier this year. “However, the biggest reason I didn’t want that label is that I know [exactly] what we are capable of and what our output is.”
