Waterparks clean up “Turbulent” with hilarious alternative lyrics
Last week Waterparks released their new single, “Turbulent,” and broke their personal streaming record by getting more than half a million listens in just two days. Now, frontman Awsten Knight is teasing us with a possibility of a clean version of the song.
The vocalist shared a cheeky set of tweets last night, including videos of him recording vocals for the supposed clean version.

According to Knight, the band were requested for a clean version of the song.
“WE JUST GOT A REQUEST FOR A CLEAN VERSION OF TURBULENT IM GONNA GO IN THERE AND RECORD ‘ID UNHUG YOU IF I COULD,’” the tweet reads.

Although the band have not officially confirmed the clean version yet, the next two tweets show footage of the frontman allegedly recording vocals for it. The videos reveal Knight replacing the original lyrics with humorous alternatives.
The first video shows Knight tracking vocals. He replaces the original lyrics with “So frick yourself and frick your feelings.”

Their onstage collaboration garnered attention and reactions from fans on social media. Watch Knight join All Time Low for the last chorus of “Break Your Little Heart.”
