Why should European wizards have all the fun? It’s a question many American Harry Potter fans have been asking for years, and much to our delight, author J.K. Rowling has just confirmed that there is an American wizarding academy.

J.K Rowling confirmed the existence of an American version of Hogwarts on Twitter and even some details about the school, but she’s keeping mum on most points (including its name!), telling us more will be revealed in the upcoming movie, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, which is coming to theaters on Nov. 18, 2016.

Here’s what we know:

—The school is not located in New York

—The school has ties to American Indian culture; “indigenous magic was important in the founding of the school”

—Revealing the tribes associated with the founding would be a giveaway to it’s location.

Check out Rowling's tweets below and tell us what you think!
