After the cancellation of their tour, blink-182 was also inevitably forced to back out of their scheduled Riot Fest performance. While this may have left fans a little under the weather, the band’s last-minute replacement certainly did not disappoint. To pay homage to the pop-punk legends, Weezer covered “All The Small Things.”

Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo began the blink-182 tribute with a few optimistic words about the song.

“Because you can never have to much blink in your life,” Cuomo said. “Let’s see what it sounds like Weezer style.”

During the course of their set, Weezer also covered Toto’s “Africa” and Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid.” You can watch Weezer’s cover of “All The Small Things” below.

Previously, Cuomo performed the cover at a solo show in San Francisco. Cuomo told fans that Weezer was more than happy to help blink-182 in a pinch.

“They were like, ‘Bro, we’re supposed to play Friday and we can’t play,’” Cuomo said to the acoustic crowd. “And we were like, ‘We got your back.’ Weezer always has blink’s back.”
