Listen to WILLOW’s fierce new single “maybe it’s my fault”
WILLOW has released her new track, “<maybe> it’s my fault.” She also dropped a music video alongside the song.
“<maybe> it’s my fault.” is fans’ first peek at WILLOW’s new album, which is set to come out later this summer.

“<maybe> it’s my fault” begins with WILLOW using the aloof, sometimes jaded delivery she adopts on so many of her songs but this shell cracks and falls away after a few moments. All at once, WILLOW bursts forth, her voice tinny and distorted as it crashes against weighty percussion.
WILLOW explained the song’s message in a press release.
“It’s all too often in tender emotional states we try to blame our hurts on other people,” WILLOW says. “Even though none of us are perfect, in some capacity it’s us who allow ourselves to get into situations that don’t serve our highest purpose. ‘<maybe> it’s my fault’ explores what it’s like to hold ourselves equally accountable for the emotional pain we feel while also allowing ourselves to be human and fully process all of our feelings without shame.”
