Wind In Sails (Equal Vision Records) shares video for "Side By Side"

Evan Pharmakis—formerly of Vanna, currently known under the banner of Wind In Sails—is sharing a beautiful new video for his poignant and affecting single, “Side By Side.” Taken from his most recent album, Morning Light, which was released through Equal Vision Records' imprint label Headphone Music earlier this year, the track should appeal to fans of melodic acoustic acts like City And Colour and Bon Iver. “This song is about the sadder parts of love. It's a culmination of all my past loves and my current one, sort of a collage of different memories,” Pharmakis reveals. “It's young love, insecurity, and loss, while never losing sight of the fact that you'll always have a place in your heart for the people who played a part in your life. The recording style came out really cool. I've been experimenting with finger picking and slap style and this was my first song trying that out. It has a very personal and raw vibe to it, and I love how it came out.”
