Yellowcard enlist Anberlin drummer Nate Young to record new album

Yellowcard have announced that Nate Young of Anberlin will be playing drums on the band's new record, due out this fall via Razor & Tie Records.

You can see what the band had to say about Young below.

“We are happy to let you know that our friend Nate Young of Anberlin will be playing drums on the new record. We've known Nate for a long time and can't wait to work with him creatively.”

Last week, the band revealed that founding member and original drummer Longineu Parsons III had left Yellowcard to pursue other musical interests.

Back in January, Anberlin announced that they would be releasing one more album with Tooth & Nail Records before calling it quits at the end of this year. It is unclear whether Young will assume touring duties or remain a part of the Yellowcard team after Anberlin's conclusion later this year.

Both bands are slated to play Warped Tour in it's entirety this year, which kicks off June 13 in Houston.
