Yes, you can really own a Christmas bear that sings this Metro Station hit

Since Thanksgiving came and went in the blink of an eye, many of us have already begun our Black Friday shopping this week. For those of you looking for the ultimate throwback gift that is both cuddly and full of festive emo cheer, look no further. As it turns out, Home Depot is apparently the place to be for all of you Metro Station fans out there.

This week, a fan of the band came across a Christmas bear that sings and dances along to one of Metro Station’s most iconic hits.

Back in 2007, Metro Station unleashed “Shake It,” an emo anthem that has continued to follow us for the last 13 years. Now, the single is at the center of an unlikely holiday gift this year. If you find yourself wandering the aisles of your local Home Depot over the next few weeks, you may just come across a particular Christmas bear.

The stuffed animal gives off some true holiday vibes with it blue-wrapped present, striped scarf and winter style beanie. As well, the Christmas bear will serenade Metro Station’s classic “Shake It” to you throughout the holiday season.

After clicking a button attached to the bear, the stuffed animal breaks out into dance as the song plays and it’s present lights up in different colors. Although “Shake It” may seem like an unusual song for the holidays, it truly makes for a great throwback gift for all of you emo kids out there.

Earlier this year, Metro Station exclusively told Alternative Press that they have no plans of ever recreating a track like “Shake It.” However, they are incredibly grateful for platforms such as TikTok and Spotify that have given the single a resurgence in recent years.

“We owe a lot to the TikTokers and the Spotify playlists,” Trace Cyrus said. “‘Shake It’ has over 110 million streams on Spotify, a platform that did not exist when they were [originally] coming out. The fact that it’s getting that much attention still shows that good music is timeless.”

Along with scoring some Black Friday steals at Home Depot, Alternative Press has plenty of deals going on right now. Along with $1 magazines featuring Motionless In White, Black Veil Brides and Fall Out Boy on the cover, you can also save up to 15 percent on all apparel and 75 percent on all accessories.
