“There are many benefits of text,” Susan Wojcicki, CEO of YouTube, said, THR reports. “As much as we love video, we want to make sure video and text work together.”

YouTube has reportedly been looking for ways to crack down on “false or inappropriate” content, after receiving criticism for a number of fake news incidents.

The Hollywood Reporter explains that the streaming service is hoping to roll out the collaboration in the coming months, along with growing its content and moderation teams to help better review content being shared on the platform.

“What this year has shown me is how important it is for us to be able to … deliver the right information to people at the right time,” Wojcicki said.
