California rapper Yung Pinch has a hip-hop cover of Blink-182‘s “I Miss You,” proving one more time how iconic the song really is.

We’re still not over Mark Hoppus’ unboxing of his original, handwritten lyrics for the band’s untitled album, which included the old lyrics for “I Miss You.”

Since the moment happened on Oct. 17, we’ve been listening to the track everyday, but now we came across another version to add to our playlists: Yung Pinch’s reimagined version of “I Miss You.”

The up and coming rapper from Huntington Beach, Calif., is sharing a cover of the iconic track and it’s be proof how well it fits in different genres.

If you think you’ve heard Yung Pinch’s name before, you’re probably right. He started in SoundCloud and has worked with the likes of blackbear.Plus, this past summer he went on tour in Europe with another pretty well known name: G-Eazy.

In an interview with Kulture Hub, the rapper shared that his love for music started at a young age, when he learned to play drums. His first favorite band? Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

And, in case you’re curious about the name… It is actually a real nickname the rapper got during his freshman year of high school.
