Unfortunately, YUNGBLUD has now joined the list of performers that have canceled shows in Asia over coronavirus concerns. The Doncaster singer took to Instagram to announce the sad news. 

Many artists have already canceled their upcoming shows in Asian including Green Day and Avril Lavigne and AltPress reported just yesterday that the Chinese theatrical release of Mulan has been postponed by Disney as well.

Late last week, Green Day, BTS, and Marilyn Manson all postponed their upcoming shows in Asian due to coronavirus concerns. Additionally, Avril Lavigne and Set It Off followed suit earlier this week.

Now, YUNGBLUD has canceled his shows as well. Recently, we reported the good news of YUNGBLUD being back in the studio and recording a "sad version" of "I Think I'm OKAY" with Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker

YUNGBLUD took to Instagram to announce the cancelation fo his Asian shows that were set to take place in Hong Kong, Japan, The Philippines South Korea and Singapore starting next week.

"Yo Asia what's going on? It's YUNGBLUD. How are you," YUNGBLUD begins." “A bit of bad news. I’m going to have to cancel this Asia tour because we’ve been advised about the travel risks in terms of the coronavirus. At first I was going to say, ‘Fuck it’ and come, but we have been advised again to seriously not."

“I just wanted to send a message just to say I’m really thinking about you all a lot and I want to send all my love and I hope everyone is safe, and I hope everyone is trying to be as positive as they can. I love you so much. I’ll be back so soon. I promise, I swear to god. I’m going to get out there as soon as I can. I’ll see you soon, I love you, look after each other, stay safe.”

Last month, YUNGBLUD announced the underrated youth North American spring tour. The tour starts off with his two Coachella performances on April 12 and April 19. From there, the British superstar will play 16 shows before wrapping up the tour at the Hangout Music Festival in Alabama on May. 16.

YUNGBLUD has been preparing to release his second, full-length album, following his debut, 21st Century LiabilityHe dropped the underrated youth EP in Oct. 2019. He also has best-selling collaborations with Machine Gun Kelly, Travis Barker, Halsey and blackbear.

YUNGBLUD took to social media to announce the tour. In an Instagram post, the singer shares a poster and his thoughts.
