‘Ghost Adventures’ host now owns John Wayne Gacy’s clown self-portrait

Ghost Adventures host Zak Bagans has added a few new items to his ever-growing collection of creepy objects.

Now, Bagans has obtained multiple paintings and letters serial killer John Wayne Gacy created while in prison. The most interesting piece in Bagans’ recent haul, however, is a self-portrait of Gacy dressed as a clown.

In case you didn’t know, Gacy was a notorious serial killer in the ’70s. In 1994, he was convicted of murdering 33 young men and boys and burying most of the corpses in the crawl space of his Chicago-area home.

Gacy previously dressed up as a clown for events and soon became known as the “Killer Clown” due to his fascination with the carnival character. In fact, Gacy was so fascinated that he painted many clown-inspired paintings while in prison.

Now, Bagans is the proud owner of a few of Gacy’s prison possessions. According to TMZ, Bagans purchased the items directly from Gacy’s step-daughter Tammy Hoff. Hoff lived with Gacy during the murders but didn’t know her step-father was a serial killer.

Hoff apparently reached out to Bagans about purchasing the items. The Ghost Adventures host has a creepy collection of haunted objects so, naturally, he jumped at the opportunity to own Gacy’s possessions.

Along with the self-portrait, Bagans also purchased letters Gacy wrote to Hoff, one of the last-ever polaroids of Gacy and his last pack of cigarettes before being executed. There’s even a painting of the seven dwarfs from Snow White.

Gacy’s possessions join various other items in Bagan’s interesting collection. The Ghost Adventures host owns Charles Manson‘s dentures, Manson’s pentagram necklace, Ted Bundy‘s glasses, Sharon Tate‘s wedding dress and even the hospital gown Manson died in.

Also, let’s not forget about Bagans’ haunted box that Post Malone said “cursed” him. All of these items are on display at Bagans’ Haunted Museum in Las Vegas.
