President Obama made an appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night to “slow jam” the news with help from Fallon's house band, the Roots. The segement was recorded at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and appropriately, college tuition hikes were discussed (or “slow jammed,” we suppose). Watch the video below.

Now, Now recently performed “Thread” for 89.3 The Current and NPR, viewable below. It's from the band's new album Threads, out now on Trans Records. They'll be opening for fun. May 31-June 17.
