The top 5 albums of 2016 so far, chosen by you
We sent out a message on Twitter and asked for you to share your favorite albums of 2016 so far—a task more difficult than it seems. You shared plenty of album love on social media, and we narrowed it down to your top five. Check out which albums made the cut, and see if your favorites are on the list!
5. The Black—Asking Alexandria
Asking Alexandria's new album The Black is the first offering with frontman Denis Shaforostov, and after the success of tracks like “Here I Am,” it's clear that you love The Black just as much as we do.
@AltPress #TheBlack by Asking Alexandria.
I love every song from the album & i listen to it everyday! — Sky (@SkyDeanna) June 29, 2016
4. Death Of A Bachelor—Panic! At The Disco
P!ATD's fifth offering was a hit on all sides of the music industry. It took it's rightful place among scene favorites, and it also hit No. 1 on Billboard's 200 Chart, making it Panic! At The Disco's first number one. Your votes gave it a place on our list, too.
@AltPress Death Of A Bachelor because its one of the best albums that Panic! has ever done and its a lot different from the previous ones.

3. Headspace—Issues
When Issues released Headspace, it's clear that they weren't afriad to mix and blend genres. By the response we received, it's easy to see that their musical effort paid off.
@AltPress Headspace by Issues because they worked really hard on it and weren't afraid to try new things. Plus, it's the bomb.

1. Misadventures—Pierce The Veil
We waited (as patiently as we could) for a new Pierce The Veil record, and by the massive response, it's clear that Misadventures did not dissapoint. Even more, you seemed to love hearing the album in full on the first leg of the band's Misadventures world tour.
@AltPress Misadventures. Because it always gets stuck in my head. If its not one song, its another.

Honorable Mention: Taking One for the Team—Simple Plan
Canadian pop-punkers Simple Plan could not be kept off the list. Like Misadventures, we were anxious for Simple Plan's new tunes, and their latest record did not disappoint.
