Hey Violet's Miranda Miller leaves band, releases statement
Guitarist and keyboardist Miranda Miller has announced her departure from Hey Violet, writing that “life on the road is pretty grueling and if [she's] being honest with [herself], it's just not for [her].”

Miller has been with the band since their creation in 2008 under the name Cherri Bomb as the rhythm guitarist and keyboardist along with providing vocals. Miller released three EPs with Cherri Bomb and Hey Violet, along with two studio albums.
Hey Violet's most recent album, From the Outside, peaked at No. 110 on the Billboard 200 along with reaching the No. 2 on Billboard's Heatseekers album chart. The band also wrapped up a European tour in May along with recently performing two shows in Japan in August.
In her statement posted on the band's social media, Miller thanks Hey Violet fans for “all the love and for giving [her] so many amazing memories [she'll] never forget.” You can read her full statement below.

Immediately after posting Miller's statement, the band posted a follow-up statement where they wrote their support for Miller along with wishing her “nothing but happiness.”
“We have played together for over ten years, grown up together and been through so much as friends and bandmates. The five of us are a family and we always will be,” writes the band.
