Fall Out Boy discuss their hilarious "Irresistible" music video

In part three of AP's chat with Patrick Stump and Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy, we discuss the humor of their music video for “Irresistible.”

Wentz explains that while Fall Out Boy have always taken their art seriously, they have always loved to goof around.

After having had their single “Centuries” explode all over ESPN and in sports arenas everywhere late last years, the guys took the “Irresistible” video as a chance to, as Stump says, show people “how sports [they] really are.”

“Sometimes we’re dark and serious, but we crack jokes, we’re ridiculous,” Stump says of the expectation of artists to mature and lose their sense of humor. “We want that to continue to be a part of us. Whenever we fall too far to one side, I think we’ll correct [ourselves].”
