Real Friends video PSA against onstage selfies: “Don’t Do It”

APTV Los Angeles correspondent Nick Major chats with Dan Lambton and Kyle Fasel of Real Friends about old-school video games, wrestling and their on-tour acoustic collaborations with Neck Deep, which take place at record stores.

“It gives kids a chance to go in there, see a record shop and if they didn’t know that it existed, now they do,” Lambton says of the changing times and the record store experience.

The band also discuss why it’s important for them to tell fans the meanings and stories behind their music.

“Even if you know the real meaning behind [a song], you could even have more of a connection to it,” Fasel says. “You could be like, ‘Wow! That’s actually what I’m going through!’”
