He also quoted the lyrics "I'm not dead and I'm not for sale" in the caption. This post seemingly confirms that the rumors are false and that he is still in Atreyu.

As well, his latest Instagram post shows that he doesn't plan to leave music anytime soon. In the new video, Varkatzas appears to be business as usual. He says that he has "so much creative energy" and is looking to start a new musical project.

At this time, Varkatzas and Atreyu have not released a statement confirming or denying he has left the band.

Earlier this year, Atreyu revealed that they are recording new music. blink-182's Mark Hoppus recently joined the band in the studio back in January. Atreyu's last full-length album In Our Wake was released in 2018. Then, in 2019, the band released a deluxe edition of In Our Wake featuring new and acoustic tracks.
