Boys Like Girls are livestreaming tonight's Philly show

Boys Like Girls wrap up their tour with State Champs, the Summer Set, and LOLO this week, and their Philly show tonight (Oct. 30) at The Fillmore is livestreaming via Veeps starting at 9:25 p.m. ET. Tickets are still available.

The band just released Sunday at Foxwoods — their first new album in 11 years — and you can grab our exclusive, limited ruby vinyl edition in the AP Shop. You can also watch their new video for “Miracle” below.

In other news, their tourmates State Champs just announced a pair of shows celebrating the 10th anniversary of their 2013 debut album, The Finer Things, in their home state of New York. They take place at NYC’s Le Poisson Rouge on Dec. 7-8. Tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 3 at 10 a.m. ET.

Reflecting on their career in an interview with AP last year, State Champs vocalist Derek DiScanio said, “We put a lot of pressure on ourselves over the past two albums. After the first album [2013’s The Finer Things], we had to beat that, and then we did [with 2015’s Around The World And Back]. Then we thought, ‘How do we beat the second one?’ There’s less pressure now. People are gonna listen to this, so let’s make sure we like it because if we don’t, we’d be doing it for the wrong reasons. It’s important for us to stay true to who we are and make a statement that makes us feel good about what we’re doing. Ultimately, what we’re showing the world and sharing with everyone needs to mean more to us than it ever did before, nowadays especially.”
