Braid paired up with Light & Noise video at The Fest last year to create a live video capturing their performance of “Forever Got Shorter” which originally appeared on their 1997 Post Marked Stamps split with the Get Up Kids then was later featured on theircareer retrospective collection Movie Music Vol. 1.

The video also captures the essence of one of the many performances at annual punk-rock staple the Fest.

Braid announced recently that they have signed with Topshelf Records, with whom they will release their first full-length since 1998’s Frame And Canvas, which was included in our Class Of ’98 special in AP 242.

Our video team also caught up with Bob Nanna of Braid at the fest this year for an artist-on-artist Q&A with Signals Midwest vocalist Max Stern. You can relive the Fest with that and several other interviews with Tim Kasher, Real Friends, Polar Bear Club and more on APTV.
