We're just a few short days away from the release of the highly anticipated Captain Marvel film, with the cast and entire Marvel crew hard at work promoting the next phase of the MCU.

During the interview, Larson revealed that fellow Marvel star and Star Wars actor Samuel L. Jackson brought his Mace Windu lightsaber onto the Marvel set on the infamous date of May 4.

"I got to hold his lightsaber!" Larson exclaims during the interview. "He brought it to me on set on May the 4th, and I cried. It was so cool. I wanna be a Jedi."

Jackson also revealed how the Star Wars universe compared to the MCU.

"With becoming that kind of character in that kind of movie. It just changes the game in another kind of way. ’Cause I had all this interesting kind of popularity or whatever, but when I got into the Star Wars universe, it exponentially changed. You become godlike in a crazy kinda way. I [became more famous] because I was a Jedi, so no matter where I went, I got accosted by the Jedi council of wherever."

To which Larson replied, "It’s so cool. I wish I was a Jedi."

Girl, same.

It wasn't long afterwards that Star Wars caught wind of the interview, responding to Larson's wish to be a jedi.

The Force is definitely with you, Captain.”

Captain Marvel's response left our hearts so full.

Star Wars Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel will hit theaters March 8, followed by Avengers: Endgame on April 26, and Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 5.

Prior to the film's release, trolls have caused Captain Marvel to become the lowest scoring film in Marvel Cinematic Universe history.

Despite these rave reviews, Rotten Tomatoes users that some are dubbing as internet trolls have taken to the website to express their distaste with the film following comments made by the film’s lead, Brie Larson.

The negative audience reviews have lowered the film’s “want to see score” to a mere 47%.It became the lowest-rated Marvel film on the Rotten Tomatoes site.

The film sits behind Marvel’s 2008 film The Incredible Hulk which currently holds a 70%“want to see” score.

The same thing was happening with the upcoming Star Wars movie, which has no title and hasn’t released a trailer yet. The film doesn’t hit theaters for a good 10 months. However, users were bombing it in the reviews on the site.

Luckily, Rotten Tomatoes has now banned users from making reviews or comments about a film before it is released in theaters.

Captain Marvel has received incredible reviews from critics following the film’s screening

Star Wars: Episode IX is slated to hit theaters December 20.
