Dashboard Confessional drop 2001 VHS footage of “Screaming Infidelities”

Dashboard Confessional are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year and along with a compilation album and tour, they’re dropping newly found live footage.

Leader Chris Carrabba is revealing to the public a live video of a 2001 performance of “Screaming Infidelities” that he found on a VHS tape in his basement storage.

Dashboard Confessional’s compilation, titled The Best Ones Of The Best Ones, includes songs from all seven full-length albums, the So Impossible and The Drowning EPs as well as their MTV Unplugged performance.

On top of that, Carrabba is offering fans a fun throwback in the way of the rediscovered live footage. The clip was filmed in Hartford, CT shortly after releasing their breakthrough record The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most.

You can check out that in the player below.

Carrabba has also compiled a Spotify playlist breaking down the last 20 years of emo music. In addition to his own songs, Carrabba included Taking Back Sunday, the Get Up Kids, Say Anything, Thursday, Saves The Day, My Chemical Romance and more. You can check out his picks here or below.
