Deadpool fans have been a bit worried following the acquisition of Fox by Disney. After receiving confirmation that a third installment of the franchise was indeed on the way, rumors began to circulate if the film would keep its R-rating.

Now, it looks like Disney and Marvel are working toward a solution to keep both Deadpool and family-friendly Marvel fans happy.

Disney chairman Alan Horn spoke at a presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas back in April.

“You’ll be seeing more of Deadpool in the years to come,” he said.

Following the Disney and Fox merger, fans began to wonder how the R-rated films would fit in the PG-13 MCU.

According to Variety's Brent Lang, Disney and Marvel are debating on how to transition between the two ratings.

So what does this mean exactly?

The forthcoming Deadpool 3 film and any further solo endeavors would be able to maintain their R-rating. However, when Deadpool is tossed alongside the likes of the Avengers, he will be toned down to meet the more family-friendly rating.

While nothing has been confirmed, it is nice to see both sides working on a solid solution to please fans.
