Listen to Halsey’s new solo version of Post Malone collab “Die 4 Me”

After years of fans begging, Halsey has dropped a solo version of “Die 4 Me” from her 2019 collaboration with Post Malone.

The song originally appeared on Malone’s third studio album, Hollywood’s Bleeding, and featured the Atlanta rapper Future. However, Halsey’s verse has remained the most captivating part, with the singer delivering a scathing boast that she “sold 15 million copies of a breakup note.”

Ever since its release, fans speculated that there was a demo with just her vocals on it. Halsey confirmed those rumors last week by teasing the song, promising that after performing it on tour this past summer, the solo version of her Malone collab would finally hit DSPs. The track includes a new verse and bridge, where Halsey unleashes even more venom than the original (“You seek to hide, you’re dead inside, won’t see me cry”).

The song marks the first new music from Halsey this year, following the 2022 single “So Good” and news that she was beginning a radio show on Amp called Halsey: For The Record.
