Bottled Butterbeer is here but only certain ‘Harry Potter’ fans can get it
Unfortunately, some of you may have to go the distance for a chance to try the tasty treat.
Most Harry Potter fans have tried their own versions Butterbeer over the years. The beverage is available on draught at select Wizarding World locations. As well, various customized Starbucks drinks and at-home recipes allow Potterheads to concoct their own Butterbeer creations.
Now, Warner Bros Studios has launched a travel-friendly bottled Butterbeer. Instead of traveling to the Wizarding World locations or trying to make your own, these bottles allow you to enjoy the magical beverage within the comforts of your home.
Unfortunately, the bottled Butterbeer isn't widely available yet. For now, the beverage is being sold at Warner Bros' Making of Harry Potter Tour in London. However, some fans are able to purchase the beverage online for a pretty penny.
Harry Potter actor Warwick Davis helped unveil the new Butterbeer on Thursday. In the video, Davis is enjoying the bottled Butterbeer while at the London studio tour. He also reveals some of his favorite things about the films including why the potions classroom set is still his favorite.
The bottled Butterbeer is a caramel-flavored cream soda with a sweet creamy topping. The beverage comes in a beautifully crafted souvenir glass bottle with collectible labels designed by MinaLima. The design duo is also behind the graphic props of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films.
The bottled Butterbeer is available for £5.95 ($7.60) for an individual 275ml bottle or £12.95 ($16.60) for a 4 x 200ml pack.
