PRS player Aaron Marshall (AKA Intervals) takes you through his warm-up routine in this APTV collaboration with PRS Guitars.

Marshall stresses the importance of precision over speed in this staircase hand shape-based exercise, wherein he alternates the positions of his second and third, then first and fourth fingers.

Repeat this technique in various places on the fretboard, cycling through the shapes, strumming first then picking. 

And viola! Now you know how to warm up like Intervals!
