James Dewees explains the origins of his Reggie And The Full Effect alter-egos

When you go to a Reggie And The Full Effect show, you’re getting several bands for the price of one. You have Reggie, the umbrella under which everything functions, Fluxuation, a sexed-up British electronic artist, and Common Denominator, a Finnish, blood-covered metal act. They’re a cast of unique characters, each with their own sound, all played by James Dewees.

But where did these “bands” come from?

Many moons ago, Dewees was trying to help his friends rename their band and got a little carried away. Hear his account of what transpired after that band rejected his pitches and how he eventually started bringing each of them to life himself.
