Andy Black dyes hair blond to support Billy Idol's potential Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nomination

A far cry from his characteristic dark locks, Andy Biersack (A.K.A. Black) has dyed his hair blond during the last leg of his current solo tour.

Why? Biersack is symbolically supporting his friend and inspiration Billy Idol to get nominated for Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction this year. An artist becomes eligible to be inducted in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 25 years after the release of their first record. Billy Idol debuted as a solo artist in 1982, 34 years ago, with his self-titled album. Before that, he was part of punk band Generation X, which released their first record 38 years ago, in 1978.
