Fall Out Boy are huge fans of metal as evident through their various side projects but their own track “Thnks fr th Mmrs” is getting a heavy touchup with this new cover.
YouTuber Jonathan Young and ex-Attack Attack! member Johnny Franck (Bilmuri) are offering up a ripping metal cover of the song packed with heavy guitar tones and tons of ridiculous close up shots of them recording the song.

The pair posted the cover a few days back with it collecting over 100,000 views within that time.
It’s clear they had tons of fun putting the video together as it’s jammed full of strange transitions between the clips and a cheesy picture of wolves howling at the moon thrown in for…some reason.

More on Fall Out Boy
Fall Out Boy fans have been having a hell of a time looking back on their discography throughout the coronavirus pandemic and as we’ve all seen from the way Twitter has become overwhelmed with posts about Animal Crossing, it was only a matter of time before the two crossed over.
Guitar tech and tour manager Aaron Dimatulac posted a clip where he discovered a way you can play “Sugar, We’re Goin Down” if your thumbs are fast enough to do so.
The game allows you to set up a drum kit for your character while jamming the buttons fast enough reveals a nice little Fall Out Boy nod.
Now, it isn’t perfectly matched up to the song’s beat, it’s pretty darn close. The clip features the song over the beat towards the end to show you just how close it is.
