fit for an autopsy

Fit For An Autopsy have done an incredible job of reinvigorating deathcore with their last album The Great Collapse, and they’re setting themselves up to do so again with their upcoming record The Sea Of Tragic Beasts.

The band are offering fans another taste of the new record with a music video for the song “Shepherd” before the album drops next Friday.

The new music video was shot in one take and plays out like a breaking news story.

“Enjoy ‘Shepherd,’ our tribute to the melodeath style of the early 2000s,” says guitarist Will Putney. “We filmed this fun little video in one take. It was four minutes in and out — and we got to pour garbage on [singer] Joe [Badolato] while making a statement about the environment. You just can’t beat that.”

The band’s new album, The Tragic Sea Of Beasts, arrives Oct 25 via Nuclear Blast and can be pre-ordered here.

The album was produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered by Putney at Graphic Nature Audio in New Jersey with artwork for the album coming from Adam Burke.
