The late Kurt Cobain of Nirvana was born on Feb. 20, 1967. He would have been 50 years old day if a tragic suicide didn't take his life in 1994.
His daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, has shared a heartfelt, handwritten statement on her Instagram, honoring her father on his birthday.
“Today would have been your 50th birthday,” the note reads. “You are loved and you are missed. Thank you for giving me the GIFT of life.”
