As summer came to a close last year, things began to heat up between Machine Gun Kelly and Eminem with several back and forth diss tracks. To add fuel to the fire, G-Eazy got involved with a diss of his own after MGK dropped a freestyle allegedly aimed at him.

While the two have been relatively quiet, leaving MGK and Eminem to metaphorically keep duking it out, the duo appear to have squashed any beef that still remained this weekend.

G-Eazy and Cardi B were part of a kick-off weekend for Las Vegas’ KAOS nightclub. G-Eazy took the stage Saturday night, bringing out Machine Gun Kelly to perform the latter’s “LOCO.”

However, the way they got there might surprise some, as NME reports it was due to Eminem staging an “intervention.”

The duo allegedly met face-to-face backstage Saturday for the first time since the feud ignited last year.

“It was very important to both of the guys to let everyone know all was well,” the unnamed source says. “They’re both so thankful that Eminem got involved to help and realized the whole thing was silly in the first place. The beef has officially been squashed.”

Both MGK and G-Eazy posted photos from the performance to their respective Instagrams, suggesting that perhaps the unnamed source is correct.

More on Machine Gun Kelly, G-Eazy and Eminem’s feud

Back in late August, Eminem surprised us all by dropping a surprise 13-track album, Kamikaze. Not Alike” appeared on the full-length, taking shots at several rappers including MGK.

The call-out follows a tweet made by the rapper back in 2012 where he made a comment about Eminem’s daughter Hailie. As if one diss track wasn’t enough, G-Eazy then brought himself into the mix with his song “Bad Boy.”

After appearing on Funk Flex’s show to perform a freestyle, MGK notably took a shot G-Eazy, with the following:

Let’s just keep GOnly Eazy I fuck with is E. I seen he’s that his hearing got a hanging earring.

I fucked his girl now he look like this shit is overbearing. How dare him. I dare him. Don’t think about comparing. Now turn that frat rap off, I get sick of hearing.

A few hours after the freestyle, G dropped his own “Bad Boy,” where he calls out the Cleveland rapper directly:

Your shots just graze me, I’m standing, they put a hole in me, I answer to no one, nobody can get control of me, MGK please stop trolling me, get over me.

You wanna be me, you’re mad that you’re not as big as me, I’m everywhere, I’m your nightmare, you can’t get rid of me. Call an Uber, turn on the radio, imagine hearing me.

“Him & I’s on, you’re listening to Halsey sing of me, Can’t fuck with nobody with so much negative energy.

Machine Gun Kelly then took to social media to respond to G-Eazy’s “Bad Boy” diss. The rapper posted side-by-side photos and called out G-Eazy for the similarities by using a plethora of hashtags.

Following MGK’s “Rap Devil” response and Eminem’s “Killshot” follow-up, G-Eazy inserted himself into the beef again on the release day of the latter. G posed with Em, captioning it with a “Rap Devil” line: “Let’s talk about it.”

A little over a week later, MGK hit the Breakfast Club where he discussed all of the back and forth.

When asked about G-Eazy’s “Bad Boy” diss, MGK wasn’t as keen to discuss the feud. “Not only can he not rap, he can’t do math either,” he offered.

Referring to the Finland trip both rappers mentioned in their track, MGK just said they “did a bunch of drugs together” and all was well back then.

The rapper also confirmed the rumors about him and Halsey, but said it happened long ago and not during the singer’s break with G-Eazy.

Following the interview, Halsey allegedly tweeted something many were saying was a response to what MGK said in the interview.

Moving on with his musical endeavors, Machine Gun Kelly recently announced his next album, Hotel Diablo, and tour of the same name. Tickets are available here with dates below.
