My Chemical Romance Twitter active after two years, fans freak out

The My Chemical Romance Twitter has come back from the dead, at least for today. The account was revived just one day ahead of the sixth anniversary of (We’re sorry) the band’s official breakup.

However, the notification in question turned out to be a tweet promoting Frank Iero And The Future Violents‘ headlining tour and new song “Young And Doomed.”

All things considered, when dedicated MCR fans across the world got the notification, it’s easy to understand why we lost our cool. Reunion dreams aside, in the past couple of years, the account has also been used to deliver a fair amount of heartbreaking news, such as the passing of Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington and Frank Iero‘s bus crash back in 2016

Luckily, this time, the notification was something every MCR fan could get happily behind: supporting the band’s members on their own personal endeavors.

Check out what My Chemical Romance fans had to say about the unexpected Twitter revival below.

Prior to today, the MCR Twitter had been silent since Bennington’s death in 2017.
