Pizza Hut revives 2000s menu item for the ultimate throwback

Are we dreaming? Pizza Hut is bringing back it’s infamous P’Zone calzones that haven’t been available for 8 years.

The pizza chain announced they’d be bringing back the beloved snack that first debuted 17 years ago for March Madness, a time full of comebacks.

Pizza Hut made the announcement on Twitter by showcasing a video of tons of people tweeting at them to bring the menu item back.

“You asked. We listened. The P’Zone is back!” the tweet reads.

The P’Zone first made its way into our delivery orders in 2002, coincidentally right before a different major sporting event — the Super Bowl.

“March Madness is one of the most captivating sports moments of the year,” said Pizza Hut’s chief brand officer Marianne Radley in a statement. “We are excited to bring back the P’Zone as part of our $5 Line-up during a time when family and friends will be gathering in anticipation and excitement.”

The P’Zone will be available in three varieties: pepperoni, meaty and supremo. All come with marinara sauce for dipping and are filled with gooey cheese. It is also part of Pizza Hut’s $5 line-up for a limited time.
