These special Pokémon cards will make you scream

The Pokémon Company is releasing special cards in collaboration with the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum—and they might make you scream.

The museum is hosting a special exhibition to Edvard Much, which included the famous painting The Scream, which will be making its Japanese debut. In celebration, five promotional Pokémon cards will be released.

As Nintendo Wire reports, the cards are all inspired by the painting. They will have versions of The Scream featuring Pikachu, Eevee, Mimikyu, Rowlet and Psyduck.

According to The Verge, the cards will be available from Oct. 27, which is the day the exhibition opens, and will retain for 450 yen at official Pokémon centers in Japan.

Plus, other Munch-inspired Pokémon merch is in the works. However, we still don’t know if it will be available worldwide.

More Pokémon

If you need more Pokémon in your life, Twitch is live streaming the popular anime series since Aug. 27. The streaming service is adding the first 932 episodes of the anime, as well as every Pokémon movie ever made, for viewers to stream.

The show runs for a total of eight hours Monday through Thursday, with Friday and Saturdays being held for rerun episodes. As for the movies, those are aired every Sunday starting at 1 pm.

Additionally, the stream has an overlay which allows viewers to collect badges that randomly appear on screen during the stream.
