Bring Me The Horizon have taken fans on a wild ride so far in 2020. Earlier this year, the band began releasing behind-the-scenes videos of them recording new music while in quarantine. Then, they announced the release of their new single “Parasite Eve.” Shortly after the announcement, however, BMTH decided to delay its release in solidarity with Black Lives Matter.

BMTH fans finally heard the highly-awaited new singleParasite Eve” on June 25. Along with the single’s release, the band also unveiled a cinematic video that was filmed entirely while social distancing.

As well, Bring Me The Horizon revealed that “Parasite Eve” is part of a multi-release the band plan to share this year. Bring Me The Horizon are currently working on four different records that will be unveiled over the next 12 months. Each record will fall under the album name Post Human. Both “Parasite Eve” and 2019’s “Ludens” will be on the first release.

YUNGBLUD also recently unveiled new music. On July 16, he released his new singleStrawberry Lipstick” along with an explosive new video. The single is off of his forthcoming sophomore album that is due out later this year.

Now, it looks like the two acts may be teaming up for a possible collab. On July 25, YUNGBLUD tweeted BMTH’s Oli Sykes and Jordan Fish. The not-so-subtle tweet seemingly hints that a collaboration between the two British artists may be in the works.

YUNGBLUD’s tweet also has the location tag of Sheffield which is where BMTH are based. This little detail further hints that a collab may be happening.

“yo @olobersyko @JordanFish86 … check ur inbox,” the tweet says.

Fish quickly responded to YUNGBLUD’s tweet on Saturday.

BMTH and YUNGBLUD have done various collaborations over the years, but have never collaborated together. Both acts have worked with Halsey in the past. Halsey is featured on BMTH’s latest EP and their co-written collab “Experiment On Me” is on the Birds of Prey soundtrack.

Halsey and YUNGBLUD have also teamed up various times. More recently, they released the single “11 Minutes” with blink-182‘s Travis Barker.

YUNGBLUD has previously shared his love for BMTH and their music. Following the release of their latest full-length amo in 2019, YUNGBLUD shared a tweet praising the band.

“new bmth fuckin SLAPS been here since SS n they still pioneering shit ?? good day for rock n roll go listen man,” he tweets.
