Poppy has been making waves with her weirdly metal take on pop music but she's expanding her talents even further by entering the world of horror.

On a new episode of Bloody Disgusting's The Boo Crew podcast, the artist reveals she is working on an original horror movie with frequent collaborator Titanic Sinclair.

The artist discusses everything from Texas Chainsaw Massacre being her first horror movie experience, what some of her favorite horror movies are and more.

“I’m working on a movie,” she tells the podcast of her new venture. “Titanic [Sinclair] and I have been working on it for quite a while.”

When asked if she would like to star in it, the musician simply replied "yeah" and hinted towards it being about the character she has developed through her music career.

This is far from surprising given Poppy paid tribute to Carrie in her video for "X" which you can watch below.

The entertainer also recently dropped a new music video for her song "BLOODMONEY" from her forthcoming record I Disagree.

She also announced the I Disagree U.S. tour kicking off in late January in San Francisco with dates running through February just prior to a previously announced U.K./Europe tour in March.

Poppy‘s third album I Disagree is set to be released Jan. 10 with preorders here.
