Sleep On It release relatable new track, "Window," off 'Overexposed'—listen
Sleep On It are debuting their new song, “Window,” a taste off their forthcoming record Overexposed, out Nov. 3 on Equal Vision Records. The song, according to guitarist/vocalist TJ Horansky, was inspired by the passing of his good friend’s mother. Listen to the track below.

“This friend is very close to me,” Horansky says. “We were roommates for seven years. He was always there for me when I was feeling lost, discouraged and heartbroken. When his mom got sick, it happened very quickly. Watching him lose his mom like that put a lot of my problems in perspective. In a sense, the song is told from different points of view. The first verse is an inward look at how I tend to selfishly preoccupy myself with my own problems. The chorus is from the perspective of losing someone that was a foundation in your life, so much so that they changed the way you looked at the world. That thought is what sparked the analogy of a ‘window.'”
The upcoming album Overexposed is Sleep On It’s debut full-length, and you can pre-order it here. The album was produced by Seth Henderson (Knuckle Puck, Real Friends). State Champs‘ Derek DiScanio also had a hand in the production of the highly anticipated album, lending his vocals to one of the tracks, “Fireworks.” See the track listing below.
