Jared Leto won’t stand for security being too rough with fans. The Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman stopped a recent show to call out some crew members who weren’t handling fans properly according to him.

TMZ obtained a video of a recent Thirty Seconds to Mars show in Sacramento, California, in which Leto calls out security for being “too aggressive” with fans.

The singer stopped in the middle of a show and asking the band to stop playing as well. Then, he repeatedly asks the venue’s crew to turn on the lights, so he could see what was going on.

Before he stops, you can see him walking to the front of stage and looking around to check what’s going on.

“Wait, wait, wait! Security, settle down, security! Turn the lights up, turn the lights up,” you can hear the frontman saying in the video. “You don’t need to take that guy down.”

“You guys are being too aggressive tonight,” he says, as he continues to ask the crew to turn the lights up. “Do not abuse this guy, OK? Relax. Settle down. Don’t escalate the situation.”

According to Leto, there were seven security guards handling one fan. The moment happened during the part of the set when 30 Seconds to Mars asks attendees to jump onstage for a song.

“This is ridiculous,” he continues. “You know, a funny thing that happens… When there’s too many security guys in one building, there’s always problems.”

“Just take care of each other,” Leto pleas, right before the video ends.
