Hear the Used’s brutally honest new single “Numb” off Toxic Positivity

The Used are back with another new single called “Numb.” The song is the first glimpse of their ninth studio album, Toxic Positivity, which arrives May 19 via Big Noise.

Following the vicious standalone singles “Fuck You” and “People Are Vomit,” their new cut captures the all-too-painful limbo of feeling a rush of emotions and nothing at all. Vocalist Bert McCracken even draws a connection to the band’s Heartwork song “To Feel Something” in a press statement: “I just wanna feel something/Anything is better than this.”

Next month, the Used will hit the road with Pierce The Veil, with their North American Creative Control tour launching May 23 in Austin. Don Broco, as well as DeathByRomy and girlfriends on select dates, will open the co-headliner. You can grab tickets here.
