Waterparks hold bassist auditions in new video for "Gloom Boys"—watch

“'Gloom Boys' video is out,” says Waterparks frontman Awsten Knight. “Our friends are cute. Look at it here.”
Yep, the electronic pop rockers from Texas are back with a new music video from their 2016 studio album Double Dare.
After trying having a permanent bassist, the band decided that “they're not doing the bass thing anymore.” However, the lucky guy in this music video gets to try out to be the bassist in the band. The trio, consisting of Otto Wood on drums, Knight on lead vocals and guitar and Geoff Wigington on back vocals and guitar, had several challenges lined up for him to form a quirky and unconventional audition. Watch to find out if Waterparks has a new member!
Watch “Gloom Boys”:
Double Dare, co-produced by Good Charlotte's Benji Madden and Courney Ballard, and was nominated for the APMAs Album of the Year. Waterparks was also nominated for Song of the Year (“Stupid For You”) and Best Breakthrough Band. Tune in on Monday, July 17 to see if they won a Skully (or three) this year! Tickets are still available here.
