Last month, the band delayed two of their Las Vegas residency shows after revealing that Barker was “suffering from blood clots in both arms and unfortunately [couldn’t] perform” the scheduled June 15 and June 16 dates. After the diagnosis, the June 23 and 24 Vegas dates were also postponed.

The weekend of the first canceled double-header, Barker posted a doctor’s note to Snapchat detailing his “thrombophlebitis in the upper extremities.” Barred from performing until this month, Barker’s now giving fans a look at his recovery process.

“It’s been the longest 4 weeks without playing drums,” Barker says. “I played through two shows in Vegas with infection and blood clots before I was able to get a clear diagnosis from a doctor. Here’s an update on my road to recovery.”

Barker and his blink-182 bandmates Mark Hoppus and Matt Skiba still have a few remaining Vegas weekends coming up this October and November, along with some other tour dates later this year. See all those dates listed after the video.
