Back in 2012, the band announced that they would be going their separate ways. While they would be splitting up, they maintained that the future of their band was still open-ended:
“We’ve always said ‘this is see you later, we’re not into goodbyes.’ We are not breaking up, and are not on bad terms. We have all reached a new chapter in our lives and we are excited about exploring new possibilities!”
And today, it appears that the band will be returning, if only just for two date. Announced on Twitter, the band shared a tour flyer with the following caption: “Weeeeeeee’re back!”
Looking closer, the flyer reads: “They came on December 28 and 29, in the year 2018, once presumed dead, but no…Every Avenue, they’re alive!”
Check out the dates for the band’s reunion shows below!
Dates:
12/28 – Chicago, IL @ Bottom Lounge
12/29 – Detroit, MI @ St. Andrew’s Hall
