It’s been over five years since We Are The In Crowd played their last concert before going on hiatus. According to setlist.fm, their last official show was in April 2015 at Lebanon Valley College’s ValleyFest. Prior to that, the band’s final full tour was with Don Broco, Bury Tomorrow and Beartooth, which hit the U.K. in February 2015.
Then, in Oct. 2019, we learned that We Are The In Crowd were set to return for Slam Dunk 2020 alongside Sum 41, the Used, The Story So Far and more. However, the festival was postponed due to coronavirus.
Now, Slam Dunk is returning May 29 and 30, 2021 with almost all of the bands from the 2020 festival’s lineup.

More on We Are The In Crowd
Before disbanding, WATIC finished up a third album—a follow-up to 2014’s Weird Kids—in May 2015. However, in February 2016, frontwoman Tay Jardine shared she was embarking on a “new journey.”
Soon after, the band shared they felt that the new record does not accurately represent the essence fans have come to know and love. Rather than disappoint fans and “force” the new music to be something it isn’t, the members have decided to move forward without the We Are The In Crowd label.
The band also clarified that this is in fact just a break—not a breakup—and that there is no “dirty laundry” to air out with this decision. There is even mention of more We Are The In Crowd to come in the future—but just not at the moment. “I don’t see any reason why there wouldn’t be more WATIC material on the horizon,” the statement continues.
In September 2016, WATIC members Jardine, Cameron Hurley and Mike Ferri revealed they formed the new outfit Sainte. The band have remained quite active over the past few years, even releasing their latest EP, bad summer, last year.
