Mike Shinoda announced for free show to celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month

After confirming that he's working on a new solo album, Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda has announced that he'll be playing a free show at IDENTITY LA to celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.

The show will be held May 12 at Grand Park in Downtown Los Angeles, boasting “an afternoon and evening’s worth performances by internationally renowned APA artists,” which include Shinoda, multi-platinum Korean-American hip-hop artist Jay Park and acclaimed DJ duo Hotel Garuda.
Plus, the event will feature a wide-variety of food trucks and cuisine.

Linkin Park members have recently been spotted in the studio together, and Shinoda took to social media earlier this month to say that he's working on something for his solo album.
The Linkin Park member will be playing a solo set at this year's Summer Sonic festival, and fans have already started a campaign for more solo gigs. You can check out Shinoda's music videos from Post Traumatic right here.
