Andy Black shares his thoughts on the state of fandom

APTV sat down with Andy Black to talk about what it's like growing up in today's world of fandoms. He recalls waiting outside of an Alkaline Trio show—and getting his sweatshirt signed by Matt Skiba.

“I make sure I go out and sign autographs after a show, no matter how tired or hungry I am,” says Andy. “I hope to give somebody that moment that I had with Matt Skiba that night.”

He talks more about the artist/fan connection today, actually recording with Matt Skiba on his record and the safety surrounding meet and greets.
