It’s been months since we’ve heard anything from Machine Gun Kelly and Eminem regarding their infamous beef this fall. But thanks to Every Time I Die, that’s all about to change.

MGK hit the road with Fall Out Boy a few months ago, and ETID appeared on a few dates. It looks like they might have been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Or the right place at the right time, depending on how you look at it.

Rewind to Aug. 31 where Eminem surprise dropped a 13-track album, Kamikaze. He took shots at several rappers including MGK.

Eminem called out MGK on “Not Alike” following a tweet made by the rapper back in 2012, where he made a comment about Eminem’s daughter Hailie.

G-Eazy also got involved, following a freestyle MGK did a few days earlier. G-Eazy dropped “Bad Boy,” which also worked in that Eminem was dissing him, “Ironic this what's happening the night that Eminem dissed you.”

At first, MGK only responded to G-Eazy on social media by re-sharing the freestyle and accusing him of trying to steal his look.

On Sept. 3, MGK finally released his response to Eminem, “Rap Devil.” However, it looks like the track was ready sooner than that, according to ETID guitarist Jordan Buckley.

Buckley shared AP’s “23 music moments from 2018 we’re thankful for” article, which includes both MGK/Eminem’s rap beef and Buckley competing with Pennywise to be the last ever Warped Tour performer.

As if that’s not enough, MGK filmed the video for “Rap Devil” while on the FOB tour, specifically the Sept. 2 Buffalo date. ETID played this date as well, and they accidentally made an appearance in the rapper’s video thanks to bassist Steve Micciche getting lost.

“Also MGK filmed the dis video in Buffalo and there's a part where you can see @MitchBHavin's Corporate Cruiser driving by in the background because it was the first time we ever played the arena and he didn't know where he was supposed to park.”
