Jared Leto is using the force of 'Star Wars' to fundraise for health care

Jared Leto may not have known the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic was as drastic as it is due to going on a meditation retreat, but now that he does know he’s making a t-shirt to raise some funds.

The new shirt will see 100 percent of proceeds going towards Partners In Health and Leto will be matching all money made as well.

Partners In Health is an organization focusing on providing health care to poor communities. You can learn more about their goals here.

Leto’s new shirt features a Star Wars themed text with a message for people to quarantine. He also shared a number of light-hearted Star Wars posts to give people a bit of a laugh in these difficult times.

“After numerous requests- we created a tee in the hope we could raise some much needed support for COVID-19. 100% of profits will be donated to and I will personally match all monies raised. May the Force be with you:”
